Pam - which puppy? Poor girl.

Par - We could just promise to have him back and then forget. But then we'd probably
never ever see him again. Worked on my dad though. Maybe we should start acting all
surprised and shocked whenever his parents mention a curfew. Or we could just ask. None
of these are good ideas, sorry.

    Ah, stats lab... so many M & M's . . .

So apparently astronomers have discovered the biggest and brightest star ever... well... discovered. It's called < drumroll > LBV 1806-20. Okay, not a real name, but you'd be amazed what you learn about naming universiality when you Google the name (hence, the link.) There are Russian, German, and more articles. Anyway, here's a picture of the beast, which is far less disturbing than my previous JR post (who was suspended for one game, by the by):

Also, for anyone frustrated by computers recently (Beck, Pete, Zeeth...), BBSpot presents the Top 11 Startup Messages You Don't Want to See:

    Yay!
Today I got anally raped by Dell, Microsoft, Symantec, and the University of Alberta when the computer crashed and I lost my whole stats lab.
That's not what the "Yay!" is for.
The "Yay!" is for me now owning a completely legitimate illegally cracked copy of minitab
    Yay!
