- A little late in the summer for it, but here's a funny, if not helpful, guide to writing a resume from the non-expert:
The Non-Expert: Defenestrate Your Résumé!
Also, I'd like to wish Happy Birthdays to all who have had birthdays in the past week and decided that, in spite of the coincidence, not to make it a huge celebration like last months coincidental party/ies. . .
Where was I? Oh yeah, Happy Birthday to Al, Teka, Simon and Adeel (the latter two probably will never read this, but whatever).

A professor at the University of Toronto conceived an interesting experiment. Using the fact that cellophane (e.g. saran wrap) is a good polarizer of white light and that the LCD display of a laptop is polarized light as a consequence of how it is constructed, Professor Keigo lizuka demonstrated that a clever setup involving a laptop computer and saran wrap can be used to create a Three dimensional display. If I had some cellophane at work, along with the right image to display on the screen, I would give this a try. I may have to try this at home though.

- You are all cordially invited to my quaint and low-pro 21st birthday (super-awesome) Dinnerama . it will take place at Tropika, the Malaysian restraunt on Calgary Trail, at 7:00 this coming Thursdsay evening. please RSVP so that i will know whether or not i should correct the number of seats i've already reserved. queries, and comments should be directed to my email or cell (970-3728).
ps: for the love of God, please don't get me anything- i'm too old for that kind of thing, and it's about 85% against my religion anyways. besides, a much more appreciated gift would be that you show up for the Dodgeball (yuh huh!) party i plan on throwing in the near future. i'll keep you posted.

- Hey Percy, there's a direct way that you can get in touch with Eric electronically. They've set up this brand new thing called electronic mail (e-mail). You don't have to post your messages where everyone can read them now. You can send it straight to Eric.

Okay, I've been enough of a dick. Here's something you folks may enjoy, though. In my continuing effort to catalog everything humorous that's remotely worthwhile to look at, listen to, or watch, I bring you:

Red vs. Blue
Essentially, these guys have used Halo to make a bunch of movies. Apart from the fact that they've gone to the effort of using a video game for characters and cinematography, the dialogue isn't half bad either. The download may take a while to start up (be patient), but it's worth it.
