Hey Percy, there's a direct way that you can get in touch with Eric electronically. They've set up this brand new thing called electronic mail (e-mail). You don't have to post your messages where everyone can read them now. You can send it straight to Eric.

    . . .

Okay, I've been enough of a dick. Here's something you folks may enjoy, though. In my continuing effort to catalog everything humorous that's remotely worthwhile to look at, listen to, or watch, I bring you:

    Red vs. Blue

Essentially, these guys have used Halo to make a bunch of movies. Apart from the fact that they've gone to the effort of using a video game for characters and cinematography, the dialogue isn't half bad either. The download may take a while to start up (be patient), but it's worth it.

    Don't Copy That Floppy

As Tony pointed out to me, every cultural diet needs its recommended daily intake of cheese. Here's today's generous helping, brought back from the days of Oregon Trail and floppy disks.

Thanks for the support guys. I hope it pays off tomorrow.

Back to the worms. For those of you struck by this worm (for example, our family computer was just hit today because some idiot decided to let it through the firewall. Don't get me started on that), Sun is now opening early registration for their new OS (not that they're taking advantage of this or anything). Actually the info is on their website here.

This is supposedly a low cost (about 1/4 of Windows) operating system. It's built over Linux, but offers the usability and user-friendliness of Windows. I'm not sure how this will turn out, but if anyone can offer an effective and popular alternative to Windows, maybe it's Sun. And who knows, maybe it'll turn out like this:
