haha, know what's even more awesome? this isn't the first time they've done stupid stuff. i asked the guy if their, um, chick peas had green beans in them (because i'm allergic to them, and my allergies keep getting worse and worse), only the guy didn't even know what green beans were! he kinda stirred up the food and said he didn't think there were any, then sold me some only for me to discover upon opening the styro container that there were green beans right on top.

how do you not know what green beans are??

and doubly important, how do you not know what's in your food?

My sister would have a field day with this blatant display of lack of food safety. Sounds like time for a law suit or something.

is it even still the Eurasian Bistro? i thought it was under new ownership - cause that manager, the White dude who somehow had Jamaican heritage doesn't seem to be there any more

so...

i have completely lost faith in the eurasian bistro in HUB... up until recently, they had my highest regard... but then one of the people working there didn't even know what green beans were let alone if they were in the food i was ordering or not... and then they were in it, and i had to return my food... grr...

and then today, i ordered the butter chicken... and while i'm all for getting hot food from the stove instead of the stuff sitting in the display warmer, it should be cooked first so, after having eaten a couple pieces of sauce-drenched naan bread (mmm, so tasty) i bit into a piece of chicken to find it not exactly, um, tender, pulling it out of my mouth to find it a vivid shade of pink... so... what do you do? i don't feel like walking back to hub, but if i get sick... what then? i think i'll be okay, i didn't eat much of it, yet, the principle of the thing still applies...

who the hell serves uncooked food to their patrons??

I'd just like to say that you haven't lived until you've held a man's beating heart in your hands as he lies on the operating table...

Unfortunately, I haven't lived. But holding the (eerily still warm) upper lobe of his right lung is still pretty cool. Probably even worth the horrible smell of cauterized human flesh.

Oh, and happy day, Birth-AD.
