This is interesting, from Mosaic:
Seems that the US foreign policy of the past 7 years has had the unintended effect of reshaping the diplomatic structure of the Middle East, with Turkey and Dubai emerging as mediators. Clearly there won't be constant forward progress, but this is an encouraging development at any rate.

For those interested, there's ball hockey going on today at 2:00 at Lister Hall. Specifically, at the rink-shaped object here:

It's a standing engagement, every Sunday at 2:00.

No, I am me. Me is I. I played basketball against Clarky, in the days of sideburns.

I didn't know you knew Clark in elementary. Unless you are someone else, and I'm assuming you are someone you aren't.

I'm not sure if it's Tegan, or if it's Sara, but one of them ripped off Eric Clark's look from elementary school for their new video. (White shirt.)

This is, as they say on the internets, teh awesome: Moffat named Doctor Who supremo:
Scriptwriter Steven Moffat was today named lead writer and executive producer on hit BBC1 drama Doctor Who.
...
The appointment makes Moffat Doctor Who's showrunner - the key creative force behind the programme - on the fifth series, which will be broadcast on BBC1 in 2010.
Moffat, of course, wrote my favorite episodes from the past two seasons -- The Girl in the Fireplace and Blink -- as well as the absolutely fantastic miniseries Jekyll (which, if you haven't watched, you really need to borrow from me yesterday.) He has a two-parter coming up this season which has high expectations (which is to say, I expect much of it; I don't know if there are generally high expectations, but there ought to be...)
