Oh you may laugh at the Daleks and the TARDIS but I'll have you know that it was the coolest show I ever had the pleasure of growing up with - along with the A-Team of course. And those Daleks were scary, rolling around killing things while saying "Exterminate, Exterminate" in a stereotypical robot voice.

Forget the Matrix and start remembering Dr. Who! Well known as being the greatest science fiction series of all time! I mean check out the Villainy the show had. Like, The Daleks!!! Encased in their pepperpot-shaped travel machines, each Dalek is a mutant monstrosity from the planet Skaro. They are one of the Galaxy's most fearsome races, with no thoughts other than that of conquest. The Daleks consider themselves the most superior race in the Universe. Humanity and all of the other species in the Galaxy may be permitted to live as their slaves - but that which they cannot subjugate they will destroy. Their main weaponry is the gun attached to the front of their casings. Even a glancing shot is sufficient to despatch the hapless victim in screaming agony!!! But way cooler than that was the Tardis which was dimensionally transcendental!! I know it only looks like an every-day police box... but its much much more! TARDIS, of course, stands for Time And Relative Dimensions In Space. Or Time and Relative Dimension in Space, if you're a purist. Inside the TARDIS there are an awful lot of rooms - libraries, gardens, swimming pools, and even a cricket pavilion. Plus two control rooms, a boot cupboard, a very large costume wardrobe and a pink Zero Room.

Hey, for question one, maybe they could have hoisted massive towers above the clouds to take in energy, but it appeared that no machine could last even the approach towards the sky. Also, the weather seems to be horrible at all times, so maybe the maintenence for the part of the tower that would be within the clouds would be reallly costly. So maybe the choice was broken down into eeny meeny miny mo. Humans or towers? Or maybe since humans relied on machines to build their civilization the robots decided to turn the tables out of spite and build their civilization by relying on humanity. o_0 Who's the loser now?

Well, for all of your matrix related questions, I have a rather simple answer. You see, if it was that obvious, the machines would have done it, the people would all have been killed, and the movie would end a horrible letdown with the machines winning and all of humanity being let down. So, now for a few more questions, some of which we've already asked ourselves.

One: Why do the machines need humans for energy when the sun is available to them just above the clouds?? It's not like building a really big tower and setting up a big solar harness would really be all the difficult. The machines could do it quite easily I would think.

Two: If humans are fed nothing but recycled humans, how would those humans that are there survive?? There is just not enough human to go around. They must have some other source of energy coming from somewhere. I mean somewhere...

Three: Why in the hell do the machines rely on numbers and slash there human victims to death, when they could just as easily put a really big gun on the end of one of them, use there advanced computer brains to aim them, and wipe out anything in their path in a heartbeat??

Four: Does it really make sense that people die when they die in the matrix?? You know better. Your brain can tell your body, hey, I'm not really dead. At least this would be true for anyone who knows the truth. Kinda sad actually. And I mean why the hell do they even need a matrix?? What about a giant sedative plant?? Wouldn't that work just as well??

Please, I want to rant some more... But I've got a life... I think I may have failed to prove that however...

Agreed about the nuclear bomb thing. Now if only there was an alternative to nuclear bombs.... Like the enormous, oversized drill they used in the Matrix. We can just hook that drill up with nuclear war heads and then my hole idea will work! Kind of makes you wonder though, if I can think of placing nuclear warheads into the drills, why couldn't the AI do it? Zion would have been finished in a blink!
