and an addendum to my previous post: find out how you'd run america... given their military and economic power etc. and your political beliefs: http:/www.americanchoices.org

I have for once, finally found a political survey (one that determines where you stand on the political spectrum) that doesn't slate me as the complete opposite of what I am... (I promise, I'm not really a facist... stupid highschool tests... grr!)

For those of you who are interested, go to: http://www.politicalcompass.org and you have to put it in your browser yourself because I've given up on getting the html correct. so there! (Par: http://www.politicalcompass.org)

for those of you who don't know, the female singer in Metric, Emily Haines, is also a member of Stars and is a rotational member in Broken Social Scene (well, like there's any other kind)

I fucking love metric, their cd was one of the best I've bought this year, so you can bet your sweet pants I'll be there.

Leo, you'll forgive him when his record stands at (quick math here) 69-6-2 (!).

Great show tonight from Stars and Broken Social Scene, by the way. Thanks, Tony, for giving me a shout about that. The excellent music and entertaining frontman to Stars (Ralph Klein hit by a busload of Mexican drag queens! Hi-larious) more than made up for the fact that I got at least a few full cigarettes worth of second hand smoke. Makes me believe that "Toronto talent" isn't an oxymoron after all (haha! roflmaool!)... I should probably get some sleep.

By the by, who all is interested in Hot Hot Heat and Metric on the 22nd? It's only $18 (stupid service charge), though it's at Red's (stupid Red's).

Yay, the Eskimos won their game, almost blew it, but they won!

Maybe it has something to do with Beck not being here... thank God we sent him off for the weekend!
    *lol* *j/k*

But maybe he was watching for the last 5 minutes where Saskachewan almost came back with 3 TDs...
*points finger* You'd better not have been watching...!

Sorry man, I'm never gonna let you go on this.... heheh

okay... I'm sure you know by now I wasn't eaten alive by some computer monster. But those machines don't get shut off at night, they just lock them in so they can't walk away by themselves! I did watch Bend It Like Beckham last night... good movie. And I thoroughly recommend it to everyone who hasn't seen it yet. I didn't make it to AD's mostly because I felt bad deserting my brother in an empty house... so sorry!

and on the note of mario kart, is someone being paid to promote this?? y'all are pretty gung-ho on it... mind you, mariokart kicks ass!

    well, cheers!
