(if we don't use this e-mail thing, it may just die out and then where'd we be?)
- Hey, "zee" (geez, everyone knows it's pronounced "zeD"), I've had just about enough of your berating of the person who set up this message board. He (presumably) worked hard for at least 5 or 10 minutes before he came up with this delightful grey background and intriguing title. Just because you fear his brilliance, doesn't mean you have to insult him by using words like "smartr".
But I don't care. You know why? I found out your little secret. That's right, I looked up "zee" on googlism and I think everyone would be interested to here this little tidbit of information:
(I'm not entirely sure what it means, but I think it has something to do with his plans to turn the world into his personal <insert ominous sounding plan here>. In any case, we're onto him now. It will only be a matter of time before Operation "Infinitely Enduring Justice, Broccoli, and Freedom" reaches fruition and nabs this "zee" character)
You can run, zee, but you can't hide.

- hey, I just read your message posted before mine about the resume link thingy. I thought it important to let you know that I learned the word 'defenestrate' just the other day. It means to throw something out of a window. It was on msn.com. The internet makes me smartr.
This time I'm really gone, forever. I'm leaving.
I'm gone.
Gone.
(forever)

Oh yeah, and before I go; you know how at the very bottom of this page it says "Special thanks go to George Carmichael, University of Alberta, without whose gracious permission to use cgi on this server and provision of this script, this board would not be possible."? Yeah, well... I know that George Carmichael guy. So I'm way cooler than you guys, and I friggin own this board. Ya hear me!?!! I OWN YOU!!!
dicktards.

- A little late in the summer for it, but here's a funny, if not helpful, guide to writing a resume from the non-expert:
The Non-Expert: Defenestrate Your Résumé!
Also, I'd like to wish Happy Birthdays to all who have had birthdays in the past week and decided that, in spite of the coincidence, not to make it a huge celebration like last months coincidental party/ies. . .
Where was I? Oh yeah, Happy Birthday to Al, Teka, Simon and Adeel (the latter two probably will never read this, but whatever).

A professor at the University of Toronto conceived an interesting experiment. Using the fact that cellophane (e.g. saran wrap) is a good polarizer of white light and that the LCD display of a laptop is polarized light as a consequence of how it is constructed, Professor Keigo lizuka demonstrated that a clever setup involving a laptop computer and saran wrap can be used to create a Three dimensional display. If I had some cellophane at work, along with the right image to display on the screen, I would give this a try. I may have to try this at home though.
