I had to sell 3 hatchlings to get my last B-grade! I think if you sell Kita, Kojack and Pete, you could get that black and decker. (Man so nerdy!)

Well it appears I've missed out on many years of bachelor food-dom with this grilled cheese sandwich thing. The only act of recourse is to improve upon it. Right now my current setup renders a reasonable facsimile of a grilled cheese sandwich. My one complaint is that my toaster toasts both sides of the bread making the inside a bit crunchy. The inside should be soft.
Has anyone tried using a toaster with a bagel setting and using the untoasted side as the center? I think that's the answer.
Unfortunately I only have a D-grade toaster of Sunbeam with little functionality other than traditional toasting. I need an enhanced B-grade toaster of Black and Decker or equivalent to see for sure.

Wha? I leave for several hours and you people are talking about easy grilled cheese sandwiches?
Yeah Cal did make the first easy grilled cheese sandwich I ever saw. This was way back in grade seven so it has been a while.
Probally when a guy to move into his apartment (I think only a guy could of invented this marvellous sandwich, because only guys are lazy enough to not want to cook.) and the only thing he had was a toaster and a microwave this sandwich was born. Probally been done long before even Cal made it. Well welcome to enlightment Beck, enjoy those easy to make grilled cheese sandwiches!

Umm...hello? I've been doing the panless, butterless grilled cheese sandwich for as long as I can remember. In fact, I think my brother (not Albert) invented it.
