An event some may be interested in this Friday (as I recieved it in an e-mail from my friend Carrie):
I am not usually
one for big group e-mails......BUT, I have an event that is worth
sharing with all of you! My husband, Michael Chase, has been working
on a solo album of some of his music. I think most of you have met
him. If you haven't, he's great! Anyways, just before Christmas he
finished his CD that he has been working on for over a year. He is
having a CD release party next Friday (January 12) at the Maverick
Brewing Company downtown. The address is 10229 - 105 Street. Tickets
are $10 at the door. All proceeds will go to the youth group at our
church. The doors open at 7:00pm and music will start around 8-ish.
CD's will also be available for $10.
If you would enjoy a mix of folk, blues, rock, and pop you should
come! And you will be supporting a new artist in the scene! He will
be playing with four other guys who recorded with him on the album.
Feel free to bring significant others and friends. We will have some
food and the Brewery bar will be open to sell their own beer. We
would both love to see you there!!
So that's Carrie's husband Michael - not mine, since my husband is named Ed...(just to clarify.)

Uh, that's not what I meant by "what do you mean...", so to speak. In any case, for future reference, modifications to the board are not a simple process and could end up with problems in unexpected places. Thus is the nature of programming. Many thanks for the patience, though.

hello all! This is just to let you know that we'll be moving at the middle-end of the month. We're moving into a house, our new address will be: 6203 127 St. NW. Our phone number is staying the same.
Our moving date is Jan. 20/06, so if anyone would like to help out, there's pizza, beer/pop, and gratitude in it for you.
We'll also be having a Mary-and-Ed-are-in-their-new-house party on Feb. 3/06 - so keep that day free!

Oh and brand-new (though same model) iPod has been delivered. w00t.
Note to snarky DHL phone lady: despite what your screen said, it turns out my iPod was not in Winnipeg clearing customs at 3:00 this afternoon; it was, as your website told me, in Edmonton, awaiting delivery to me.

Sorry, I made a bad assumption in some javascript code. Should be all better now. (What do you mean, you didn't think I'd changed anything recently?)
And I laughed my head off at former first-overall pick Patrick Stefan's boo-boo. Man, I was sure it was over at the breakaway on the empty net
