And, the empty frame where the picture of He-Who-Must-Not-Be-Named once hung. Since the picture was extracted and the frame rehung, the Oilers have gone undefeated.

The superstitious would argue that pointing out the fact and taking a picture of the empty frame might disrupt the mystical energies that have enabled it thus far. To them, I merely point out Henrik Zetterberg's shootout attempt of last night: he completely faked out Roloson and had but to ease the puck into the net to win the game, and yet he eased the puck right onto the post. Any karmic energy that can cause that kind of preposterously improbable event can stand up to my hubris.

(Besides, we've still got the Colbert bump on our side.)

Here you go, Andy: someone else to give the disappointed look to. Granted, most of it is documenting newspapers' lame wii-ness, but he does provide this line, which I could not possibly hope approach:

Oh, the humani'wii'. (Apologies...I'm so'wii'. (No, 'wii'lly. (I can't stop, send help! Hurr'wii'!)))

(Although, perhaps it should have been "'wii''wii'" instead of "'wii'lly". Quibbles, though.)

Are you on now Al? I can meet you there if you let me know your character name.

I'm Becky... of course. I haven't found a way to see if someone is online if they're not in the clan, but in the chat window if you type:

/invite Becky

the invite screen will show up on my screen and we can party.
