At my work, the other in-house artist has a binary watch. Yes, it displays the time in binary (as a sequence of LEDs that are either on or off). It takes longer to figure out the time than it does for the time to change.

Al and Percy, Lineage II

Download the big file, and the updater. Unzip and install the big file but do not run it right away. Unzip the updater to the same directory as the install and run that exe.

While it's updating register a master account and a game account on the website.
Go into the program files directory where it installed and delete the file obscene-e.bat

Now you should be able to play for free. Let one of us know if you're online via msn or something and we'll invite you into the clan.

Congrats, Jess. I wish I had a job... uh, that paid me more money than I spend in a given four month period.

And, as a final thought on my rant, I guess my point is that the outcome punishment is bad if you're, in your example, trying to eliminate the cutting down of trees. But clearly I am not as wise as Colin Campbell.

How tantalizingly close we are... last night I unloaded about a hundred or so boxes of Nintendo Wii from the purolator plane. I'd better be able to get one as soon as they're on sale, I mean, am I not responsible for everyone getting one now?

So, in case any of you are wondering, the value of a BA is exactly $1/hour. (I just got a job and they're going to pay me an extra dollar an hour because I have a degree.)

In regards to the hockey injury decision - according to Karen Blixen who wrote Out of Africa (an autobiography of the time she spend farming in Africa, which differs greatly from the movie of the same title) the Kikuyu's (a tribe in the area) punishments for crime depend on outcome, not intent. So, if you lie in wait in a man's home and slit his throat, you will be punished the same as if you were cutting down a tree and it happened to crush a passing stranger. Usually some sort of transfer of resource was involved (ie a number of livestock), and the reasoning was that the family's suffering would be equal in either case, and so should their compensation.
