Novell and Microsoft Collaboration Announcement

QUESTION: For all the Christmas shoppers, we wanted to find out when is [Windows] Vista coming out?

STEVE BALLMER: Business availability will be before the end of the year, and consumer availability will be in time for the second Christmas, which will be the very early part of next year. And when we have more specific details, we'll certainly give them to you.

Ah? Ah, I get it.

Holy shit, this is a ridiculous campaign ad. How can you play the scary campaign music while accusing your opponent of exploiting fear?

Oh, btw, that's an ad for the Canadian byelection in London North Centre. We really do adopt only the best from the States.

Gah. Lousy popular movies selling out two hours in advance. Perhaps we try again another time.

Speaking of movies that will, in all likelihood, kick ass, some D action, courtesy of the Internets (it couldn't possibly be a marketing ploy by New Line, that would be silly):

I like how that article about the oceans says that there will be no more seafood, as opposed to saying there will be no more sealife. (But I bet more people will read it this way.)
