I wish I knew how to classify that tactic. It's like reverse filter-deception. It moggles my bind.
Shameless plug: We Flew, We Fell, We Lived: Second World War Stories from RCAF Prisoners of War and Evaders. First-hand stories transcribed by my brother's former APT preceptor and present co-worker at the high school at which he teaches. Deven says it's excellent for the history buff, and I plan on taking a peek when he's done. And I'll let you know how it goes.
Now that raises an interesting dilemma. If the profits from his airlines are going towards climate change research, at what point does flying Virgin Atlantic become a net positive in the fight against climate change? Or does it? Or is it just a cheap ploy to get people to fly with his airline? Questions abound.

Dave Gorman was on the Daily Show again last night in an anti-Even-Stephven segment with John Oliver entitled ConTROVersy. According to his website, he's in New York for a few weeks, meaning we can look forward to more Gorman-ositude in the weeks to come. Here, here, I say.

Ed, i'm a little worried, they had Nazareth and Harry Belafonte really close together... like cuddling... and i would not have ever suggested fans of one to seek music from the other... there may be some flaws...

That's a quirk of the event scheme. I'm trying to get it to not display things that are too far off, but to still display everything that someone has added themselves. (As an aside, no one else sees that your birthday is next.) I've got to overhaul that whole thing, so it'll get fixed then.
The google search thing is pretty sweet, though. Like leveling up or something. (Better bump up the quote on the kennel).

Google the words "scuba diving edmonton" and you'll see that 5th on that list is a site of our creation! (well... redesign). It didn't show up before and we promised to increase the rank. w00t!

So, real news. Longtime Edmonton weatherman Bill Matheson passes away at 80.
I still vividly remember the "Idaho High", crazy drawings on the map (he must have been the last holdout before the green-screen weather reporter) and, of course "That's the weather for this evening...
