dude! I had so much fun last night. from the start. Eric, thanks for suggesting the show as a replacement b-day fun night, it certainly made up for my lacklustre b-day in High Level. everything was really great, though I'm not so sure I'd really want to spend all my friday nights in rooms so hot my sweat won't evaporate. (so, all i'm thinkin' is maybe somewhere with more ventilation...) thankfully, though, (after four hours of straight dancing) i'm not paying for it the way I thought I would... my joints don't hurt that much, maybe dancing is the tonic i needed. but somehow I think I fucked up my foot... we'll see.

Anyway, yeah, fabulous time, thanks for passing the info along.

The latitude 53 thing was fun too. (it's been a really fun 'long' weekend for me). I enjoyed it so much, I got home and made some more trading cards while eating my dinner. Next time I'll be ready to trade. that is, if anyone wants to trade with me...

DVAS is everywhere. I was under the impression they played NextFest last night too...

Speaking of NextFest, Alison pointed out to me that tomorrow at the latitude 53 gallery is an "art-trading-card" event. You go there, make an "art-card" in the afternoon and then around 4 or 5 (I forget what the exact times are), you trade 'em. I'm totally going to that. I also plan to stop at Listen Records... because the only artist in NextFest that I'm really even interested in seeing is doing their art show there. How convenient... I still gotta pick up Juan Maclean tickets anyhow.

Looks like my day's booked... except for the evening. What's happening tomorrow night? Hmm... I might start this painting I've been planning...

I can see why some people like old 50-70's muscel cars. The Edsel Citation had a engine that could produce 345 HP! Thats way more then a STI or a EVO, and this car was made in the 60's! This is also one of the "crappier" cars of the era, I don't think sport compacts made now have anything on muscel cars built back then. We won't even talk about super cars like the Vette or NSX. They're in their own class.
