DVAS is everywhere. I was under the impression they played NextFest last night too...

Speaking of NextFest, Alison pointed out to me that tomorrow at the latitude 53 gallery is an "art-trading-card" event. You go there, make an "art-card" in the afternoon and then around 4 or 5 (I forget what the exact times are), you trade 'em. I'm totally going to that. I also plan to stop at Listen Records... because the only artist in NextFest that I'm really even interested in seeing is doing their art show there. How convenient... I still gotta pick up Juan Maclean tickets anyhow.

Looks like my day's booked... except for the evening. What's happening tomorrow night? Hmm... I might start this painting I've been planning...

I can see why some people like old 50-70's muscel cars. The Edsel Citation had a engine that could produce 345 HP! Thats way more then a STI or a EVO, and this car was made in the 60's! This is also one of the "crappier" cars of the era, I don't think sport compacts made now have anything on muscel cars built back then. We won't even talk about super cars like the Vette or NSX. They're in their own class.

Bug #1 in Ubuntu Linux:

Microsoft has a majority market share
Microsoft has a majority market share in the new desktop PC marketplace. This is a bug, which Ubuntu is designed to fix.

Microsoft has a majority market share | Non-free software is holding back innovation in the IT industry, restricting access to IT to a small part of the world's population and limiting the ability of software developers to reach their full potential, globally. This bug is widely evident in the PC industry.

Steps to repeat:
1. Visit a local PC store.

What happens:
2. Observe that a majority of PC's for sale have non-free software pre-installed
3. Observe very few PC's with Ubuntu and free software pre-installed

What should happen:
1. A majority of the PC's for sale should include only free software like Ubuntu
2. Ubuntu should be marketed in a way such that its amazing features and benefits would be apparent and known by all.
3. The system shall become more and more user friendly as time passes.

Economics

United States: In 1970, a Federal study estimated that the total retail value of all the hard-core porn in the United States was no more than $10 million [citation needed]. Although the revenues of the adult industry are difficult to determine, by 2003, Americans were estimated to spend as much as $8 to $10 billion on pornography. [2]
