I don't know if you'll still be able to see this picture, but this was the idea for my next Grand Arms. Unfortunately some japanese Gundam Wing fan drew his Gundam version of my idea. Damn beaten to the punch again.

oh, and guess who just got a blood blister... me! wooooo.....
because... I was fending off my brother, like usual when we battle on the staircase, and I managed to snap the railing, pinching my finger in the process. I broke the bannister. I didn't know that was even possible... and I wasn't pusing hard on it or anything either. uh, I guess it's a good thing my folks are planning on having the house painted this summer.... new railing!

so, uh, guess who's going to Conklin next week!!! yeah! me, that's who! wooo......
what kind of a supervisor comes in on a wednesday afternoon and says "what are you doing next week? any important stuff in the lab? Want to go to Conklin?" So... I'm going to Conklin. Not only did he not initially say what day the trip would be on, but he failed to mention that it would in fact be for multiple days. And that's all he gave me to go on. wtf?
He's the kind of person whom you know has a whole ton of stuff going on upstairs, but very little of it actually gets out the door. This could be an interesting year (uh, two or three) if things are going to continually be non-planned and silently hemmed and hawed about without actually informing me of what is occurring (when it affects me, of course). I already know I can be rather, um, obtuse when it comes to reading the minds of other people, but if the success of my study relies on this style of communication, I am going to become an even more grumpy, cranky jerk. sweet. or, maybe that'll only be the field seasons. And thus far, my field season appears to promise a number of ups and downs, so I think I'll be okay. ... so long as I get to work a lot with the summer student we've hired. ah... hmm... haha! (so long as I don't have to be his ta come autumn!)

Yo Al, check this shit out:
Robo-ONE, the guys that put on various robot tournaments from japan, have set a date for ROBO-ONE IN SPACE. Seriously, in October of 2010 they are sending a satellite into space with a payload of 4 robots for zero-gravity battle!
That is fuckin AWESOME.

Yeah, I mean pregnant. Last time we went to Khazana's with him, he ate so much that his stomach was distended and it looked like he was pregnant. hahaha He was shitting in the bathroom for like an hour and a half and even after that he still couldn't walk. hahahaha

So I just finished the in-class essay for my german class (it went okay). I think I am supposed to feel relieved, but really I just feel more stressed that my year-to-decide-what-to-do-next is over and I still don't know what I want to do next.
And kudos to you, Tay, for making it this long. Good luck!
