However, I did not spend my day grinding chunks of wood into flour - I spent another day at the equine hospital while my horse had another surgery. Seems a different part of his small colon got displaced sometime between noon today and 5 pm. They couldn't find any reason anywhere in his digestive track that would cause this, which makes it hard to avoid in the future. So now we wait to see what happens. Did I mention that there's a 95% infection rate for incisions (in horses) that have been so recently reopened? I did get to help bandage him and now I smell like equine intestinal fluid. Mmmmm.

AWWWwwwwww!!! Beck, Keri you have unquestionabely the most cutest puppy in the entire world! For a brief moment I put aside my drive to make killer mechas and my plots for vengance. nope, Eric, I didn't go. I forgot all about it until I got home. I don't know how I forgot, but well, that's the way it goes... I sure hope Mr. Schmeiser scared enough people into action though. maybe we'll get another chance to see him soon. I guess this is what he does now - travel around talking... seeing as he needs some way to pay back his legal fees, and i'm sure Monsanto's sucked all the farming energy out of him...
