Wow, Caribou's gone in quite a different direction since the "Up In Flames" days.

Staying on the musical theme, here's one for all the Tom Waits fans out there.

Well since someone predicted it is the end of the world today here goes some end of the world ramblings.

Just like a famous mangaka Go nagai said: You can't choose how you will be remembered you can only choose how you want to live your life.

That in mind I hope I would be remembered as a proud, noble and skilled xia warrior who was born in the wrong time period and forced into a body which did not match the aspirations the will had.

Also to Hannah: I think I could of loved you if I had more time.

Well looks like I'm going to get that Triumph Street Triple and ride it into the end.

I LOVE NEIL GAIMAN! Those are awesome, Matty. I think your wifey wife would quite enjoy such a gift.

In semi-related news, NPR put out a list of the Top 100 SciFi and Fantasy Books as a navigation/reader decision guide. (like a mind-map of the most awesome nerd explosion ever... )

AND, The Princess Bride cast had a reunion
.

AND in unrelated news: crafting gone creepy via McSweeney's.
