ok, now I'm really jealous. I even forgot my binoculars... saturn's rings, no fair you two!
but meh, the tree, the snowbank and I had a great hour and a half of moon/sky watching. I've never seen Sirius sparkle so much.

I saw the rings aswell. But I went to the FABservitory to watch. For someone who has sold more then his share of telescopes that was the first time I've actually looked through one at the sky. definatly a cool thing to see.

Well, while that's a ridiculous way for the comapny to fill the gap, from an employee's perspective I must admit that getting paid to fly in a plane to and from work (with overtime) sounds pretty sweet for whoever gets to do it!

January and February have been very slow months for the service department at Culligan, with 3 techs we've had only a 78% workload. So Culligan feels they are paying too much in labor for the amount of work that actually gets done. So what's the solution?
Once a week have one of the techs fly to Fort Mac for the day to do 4 service calls and fly back, thereby filling up all their days... and adding 4 hours overtime for the Ft. Mac guy... and the cost of a round trip flight.
That's how you make your labor cost and workload balance...

Okay I couldn't resist doing another poem based on the weather icon. I swear you won't read anymore of this stuff from me in the near future. Just back to mechs from now on.
Similar style to my last poem.
Away from me
With out the gentle cloud, the moon is alone
I feel that without your soul that I must atone
Why did destiny decide that I would walk alone?

Lunar eclipse tomorrow night! Total eclipse occurs between 8 and 9 pm. Forecast calls for clear conditions with low of -7. The moon will be flanked by the bright leonid Regulus on one side and Saturn on the other. Thanks to the diminished light of the moon both saturn's rings and its moon Titan will be visible with the aid of a small telescope.
I know what I'm doing!
