Okay I couldn't resist doing another poem based on the weather icon. I swear you won't read anymore of this stuff from me in the near future. Just back to mechs from now on.

Similar style to my last poem.

Away from me

With out the gentle cloud, the moon is alone
I feel that without your soul that I must atone
Why did destiny decide that I would walk alone?

Lunar eclipse tomorrow night! Total eclipse occurs between 8 and 9 pm. Forecast calls for clear conditions with low of -7. The moon will be flanked by the bright leonid Regulus on one side and Saturn on the other. Thanks to the diminished light of the moon both saturn's rings and its moon Titan will be visible with the aid of a small telescope.

I know what I'm doing!

Who the fuck designs an OS and says "let's not tell the user there are system updates available, and instead have them install without warning while he's trying to shut down and get back to the rest of his life?"

ooo! hey, check this out, the arrows can go on either side of the clouds... wtf??

AND, if anyone is interested in more information, there's a NASA web page for the lunar eclipse happening tomorrow night starting around 6:45, including an eclipse diagram for MST.

oh, and yes, Jess... I'll be there with bells on. 7pm sounds just fine.

My roomie went to see it on Sunday, and she said it was really good... she also hadn't read the graphic novel, so I'm guessing it'll be a little more resonant for us.

Okay Alison your picture icon from environment Canada and queries on the interpetation has inspired me to write a poem (plus I'm kind of bored at work).

It's in the style of a Wuxia poem by Louis Cha so it will sound kind of weird.

Mysterious Traveller

The cloud flies across the crescent moon
Like my sword goes across the cord of your life
Sorrow can't come quickly enough

alright, if you are the average Environment Canada e-visitor, what would you interpret this image to mean?

moon with clouds moving to the right?
or quickly moving clouds?
or cloud cover will eventually hide the moon?
or increasing cloudiness?

what do you think the correct answer is?
