Alright seems about time for one of my questionable music choices:

Ok, so the Matt you know and are friends with I "met" for the first time today at the Grad. School Expo at the U of A. He looked kind of familiar, but I wasn't sure from where. He's a pretty cool guy. It was good to get to know him a little.

so... for the future, Par, when we go to bars, we should mind everyone else's business?

Also, wow, it's been a long two days. Two OR days sandwiching an emerg night. This lifestyle is going to take some getting used to.

On the plus side, I saw my first patient who was out at the bar "minding his own business." That shit's hazardous to your health.

Intresting article Par. Sounds like something I have to do next time I play Halo 3.

Disparities in economies of free-time lead to asymmetric warfare in Halo 3. (Or, why a crappy player "adopted the tactics of a suicide bomber.")

I got appointed to the Renewable Resources grad student social club... um, sweet (?) I'd like to know what they were thinking... I hardly ever went to the events, AND I'm supposed to be defending in April... that's not exactly the fulfillment of a 1 year term.

okay, granted, I'm not actually complaining, I just think it's odd. I really like most of the people in our department, so it's not like I'm going through some arcane form of torture, and it'll be good to socialise with a wider circle of them (instead of the cliquey knitters' group), but still, that gives me 6 months of involvement. They would've benefited more by appointing someone else.
