Re: Veiled women allowed to cast vote without visual id.
Your driver's licence alone gets you a ballot, in other words - but so does your birth certificate and a credit card statement in combination. In fact, as long as someone else who meets the ID requirements is willing to vouch for your identity, and you're willing to swear an oath affirming it, you don't need any identification whatsoever. So, repeat after me: "You do not require photo ID to vote in this country." Why this is so hard for anyone in our hardworking media to mention is anyone's guess. It seems that the PM can get away with not understanding this detail of his own party's legislation, though.

If Elections Canada ever feels the need to clarify its stance on facial coverings again, it might consider a more concise press release: "Read the Act."
Maybe that's what he meant when he said it would be a challenge to work with the bureaucracy -- that they would actually follow the letter of the laws his party passed.

I'm not complaining that it's too small. I'm complaining that they lied to me. The liars!!

Paras - Last time you talked to me about your Hinton place, you were complaining that it was too big.

Also, while I'm being snarky, someone needs to tell Darren Dreger about why Joffrey Lupul is not an Oiler:
[The Oilers'] offence looks like Swiss cheese with the departure of Ryan Smyth, Joffrey Lupul and Petr Sykora.
Without Lupul, it's like they've gained a 30-goal-scorer.

2 bedroom/2 bath my ass. More like 2 bedroom, 1 bath, and one toilet and sink at the back of my closet.
Still, nice place.

Alright got my phone back yesterday. They only had it for a month and didn't phone me to pick it up. So no obselet(sp?) but reliable loaner. Back to the new but finicky phone again.
It's like getting your Ford GT back from the dealer after driving a reliable Ford Focus for a month.
