Dana and Jere, where can we drop off our wedding gifts? Is it easier to bring them to the wedding or is there an alternative place we can drop them off?

"There are not too many people outside of Fort McMurray who really have a deep understanding of what's going on in Fort McMurray and what the pressures really are like up there," he said.

According to the government's website, the secretariat co-ordinates and improves "planning, communications and service delivery to the oilsands region." The secretariat is also "reviewing and completing a cost analysis of the recommendations in the Radke Report, Investing in Our Future: Responding to Rapid Growth in the Oil Sands Development."

and you still think an oil company executive is the best bet?? are you kidding me? why not have the mayor of Ft. Mac in that role, she at least has concerns about things like water, health and infrastructure too... and MIGHT just know a little more about the greater impacts of the whole damned thing...

who the hell is running our province?

oh, thanks for the "bitter" link, Par.

"Some antibacterial soaps are no better at preventing infections than regular soap, and may cause bacteria to become resistant to certain types of antibiotics, a new U.S. study indicates."

The best part of this story?

[The study] recommends that U.S. government regulators evaluate antibacterial product claims and advertising.

Thank you.

Pam, I'm thinking right outside the hall, too, because it's convenient. I'm just looking for a place to crash before I head out the following morning; I don't anticipate wanting a campfire.

I'll take some empty lot space, just hopefully I don't need to get to the bathroom in the middle of the night

Hey everyone,

I just thought I'd clarify a little. The site by the hall is just an empty lot. If you guys want to camp there, you can, but you'll have to go into the hall for toilets, and you won't be able to have any fires. However, I've just learned that the Senior's ball tournament, which I thought would clog up all the campsites, is possibly cancelled, or at least not very large, so there should also be lots of sites available at the Lion's campground (has lots of trees, and fire pits, but only outhouses) or the Golf Club Campground (less shade and not as nice asthetically, but has showers and running water). Anyways, it is up to you guys, but I think you may be more comfortable in a campground, seeing as there should be sites available. Also, the music from the dance may keep you up, depending on how early you want to turn in/how late the dance goes. Everything is within walking distance of the church and hall.

See everyone on Saturday!

Matt and I will be camping at the site as well, Pam, so if you wanted to throw some of your stuff around for us too, that'd be great. I don't know when we are planning on getting there.
