Hey everyone,
I just thought I'd clarify a little. The site by the hall is just an empty lot. If you guys want to camp there, you can, but you'll have to go into the hall for toilets, and you won't be able to have any fires. However, I've just learned that the Senior's ball tournament, which I thought would clog up all the campsites, is possibly cancelled, or at least not very large, so there should also be lots of sites available at the Lion's campground (has lots of trees, and fire pits, but only outhouses) or the Golf Club Campground (less shade and not as nice asthetically, but has showers and running water). Anyways, it is up to you guys, but I think you may be more comfortable in a campground, seeing as there should be sites available. Also, the music from the dance may keep you up, depending on how early you want to turn in/how late the dance goes. Everything is within walking distance of the church and hall.
See everyone on Saturday!

Matt and I will be camping at the site as well, Pam, so if you wanted to throw some of your stuff around for us too, that'd be great. I don't know when we are planning on getting there.

naw, I was going to take my girlfriend to Elk Island to see the meteors (it's a light reserve there), but it was took fuckin cloudy Sunday Night/Monday morning. I was bummed. I was gonna bring a big foam mattress to put on top of my van and we could lay on the roof and watch the stars. I think that would've been a killer idea on my part. But the weather did not cooperate with my notions of romance.
So yeah, I see Perseids about as often as I do Percy.

I've found that the key to killing zombies is to shoot them in the legs and get close-enough to round-house kick their heads once they go down. It's an especially excellent technique when you need to conserve the ammunitions.

Clearly, it's no Animaniacs song of countries, but They Might Be Giants' Alphabet of Nations did point out a fact I didn't know about the nations of the world. It's not immediately apparent, and has only been true since, oh, October 3, 1990. (As far as I can reason; can anyone think of a country I'm missing?) But I had to look it up to realize that it's true.
