Thanks for the welcome, Gaut, albeit slightly early. Even earlier for Albert, whose progress across the continent hit a bit of a snag.
I can't help but assume some responsibility for it, but, basically, Al and Cal missed the bus connecting from the subway to the airport and, as a result, arrived to check-in five minutes after the cutoff for checking-in baggage.
Seems that, despite what the MTA's website says, the bus driver didn't accept our subway metrocards as a transfer to the bus. So we had to count out change. But Al and Cal counted out change on the platform, and the driver just took off.
(The worst part of it all, I realized afterwards, was thanks to Al not spending any of his change, he had more than enough to pay for the trip; he just wasn't on the bus when he was getting it out.)
My part, unfortunately, was in the planning of the transport to the airport, which I thought could withstand being two busses late, but apparently could only suffer one.
So, my apologies to the Yeong brothers, who should be arriving in half-an-hour or so. Sorry, guys.
Also, this town is really quiet. Just sayin'.

Alison - Probably something you never look at or use fell down. Very cute dress, by the way!
I am in the horse show that is going on at the Whitemud Equine Center from now to Sunday. I'm near the end of the day every day, so probably between 4-6 most days (Sunday will probably be earlier). Just thought I'd let you all know in case you were interested in coming down. I'll have my cell phone with me so if you want a more exact idea of a particular day you can call me.

if something goes *sliiiip BANG* really loudly, you would think the source of the noise would be self-evident, right?
I'd like to know what fell... it even echoed, andshort of windows (all already closed) I haven't the foggiest idea.
suggestions?

you know, I'm not sure!
I bought the yarn in May, so I guess then? I was knitting in High Level at the end of the month, but it's been sort of stop n' go... what with knitting not being a summery thing really... and the whole moving adventure... but yeah, success! and thanks.
