it's finally here after years (over a decade) of hard-fought lobbying and meetings and trying to convince the stupid student body that this is a good thing...

and... there's what, like three of us on campus still??

Maybe that's why our internet doesn't work yet either. And they didn't bother 'activating' our phone line until yesterday... which they said they'd do last Monday.

so... we have a third tennant... a squirrel! he seems to live above my front door... and he's really really active. I'm worried he might have found a way into the rest of the house, but I'm not sure... it would explain a lot of the noises I've heard the last couple days. I could've sworn there were people on my roof... now I know differently...

if what your install wizard says is true:
"Note: if the LINK light on your gateway does not light up, you may be trying to install your gateway too soon after ordering TELUS High Speed Internet service. It may take up to 5 days after you ordered the service before your High Speed line is activated."

you had better not be charging me for "High Speed Internet service" until such time as it becomes available. And, if it fails to become available, I would like a full cancellation of my policy, as I have not been able to access services rendered. While the whole buyer beware principle likely applies, it is also in your good conscience as a business to inform customers of the availability of services. Would you sell me a phone line you can't possibly provide? I think the same can be said of internet. I shall wait one or two more days, and if you have not provided me with service, I shall become angry.
