Thanks, Beck. I'll let you guys know what they tell me.

And thanks, Chris, I think I may have to check up on that.

I'm pretty sure cheese is still safe. With the amount of cheese that is produced annually and the amount of milk it takes to produce 1 L of cheese, rennet from cow's stomach probably wouldn't be sufficient enough. At least that's what I learned in my milk production and technology class (yes, the UofA offers a course like that). Saying that, you should check.

Snickers no longer satisfies... nor do Mars, Bounty, and Milky Way, for me anyway.

The story is from the BBC, so it's not immediately clear whether the change applies in Canada, but their website magnificently lacks any contact information that I can find, so asking them seems kind of out of the question.

Ah well, at least I learned something about rennet, and I'm no longer certain about cheese. Great day.

Any takers on who plays tintin?

sounds like a long shot but I think Josh kalssen, the CFRN weather guy look most like him.

And if tintin could predict the weather I'm sure it was only a matter of time

Blistering Barnacles!

(I apologize for the above horrible joke. I shall endeavour never to make such irresponsible use of a comic character's catchphrase in the future.)

The Sabres are down 3-0, and, having been blown out 1-0 in game 3, the fans are naturally asking questions about their obvious weakness: goaltending. And the question being asked, apparently, is "Is it Ty Conklin time?"

Wow. This is reminiscent of when Wings fans were suggesting that inserting Cory Cross into the lineup would salvage their series against the Oilers. I wish I could come up with a more elaborate way to answer their question than "It's never Ty Conklin time".

Although, hey, it would be fun to find out whether his playoff-minutes-played will outlast his career best from last year.
