The Sabres are down 3-0, and, having been blown out 1-0 in game 3, the fans are naturally asking questions about their obvious weakness: goaltending. And the question being asked, apparently, is "Is it Ty Conklin time?"
Wow. This is reminiscent of when Wings fans were suggesting that inserting Cory Cross into the lineup would salvage their series against the Oilers. I wish I could come up with a more elaborate way to answer their question than "It's never Ty Conklin time".
Although, hey, it would be fun to find out whether his playoff-minutes-played will outlast his career best from last year.

Who needs to study cardiology? I can just watch the video for this moving Spanish ballad from Hard 'N Phirm (they of the famous Abe Lincoln song):

I'm not one to make fun of lecturer's names, but when the two lectures given by one Dr. Butts are on colorectal cancer and lung cancer, how does one fight the temptation??

Vaccination is the best prevention for mumps, but doctors say young adults in their late teens and early 20s are more prone to the disease because they were born in a period when only one dose of vaccine was administered to children. Since 1996, preschoolers have received two doses.
Careful out there, kids.

True Alison, paying more for insurance then your car is worth is just silly. I do admit it was strange talking to "faceless" stooges to get my insurance quote. Very impersonal. However you won't find cheaper.

TD Meloche Monnex is by far the cheapest I've found while sitting at the compy this morning, they just don't do any of their claims face to face... (aka you can't talk to a 'real person,' all you'll get is a string of call centre staff.) but really, what more do i want right now anyway?
I just happen to live in a house of insurance workers... who have money... and think that the more expensive ways of doing things are better... but I don't feel like I should be paying more than the value of my car in one particular year to insure it.

Try meloche monnex TD for cheap insurance. Owning a car is so expensive because you are still young and have to pay higher insurance because of that. Sounds pretty fishy though why you would have to pay so much insurance on a car that old.

I have been paying WAY too much money on insurance... for how much my car is worth... the Canadian Black Book says my car ranges in price from $446 to $1360 if I'm lucky, and I own a 95 instead of a 97 (why won't they let me look for cars older than 97???)
so... with that in mind, I'm looking at a decrease from over $1800 to $1225 a year! (don't go with AMA insurance, they're really pricey)
gah... why is it that I never did this before? and why is owning a car so bloody expensive? why do I own a car?? arghh!
