That next one also sucks, Jess. I've discovered a pretty good cure for guilt trips, though: hermit-liness. If the only person you talk to is you, you can't guilt trip yourself. And, if you do, you can always guilt yourself for, uh, guilting yourself. Then, you just spiral into a great black hole. But the point is, no guilt. At least, none in a black hole.

Hmm... what an odd tangent. Let's call it a theory in progress.

Is anyone else's mom going Christmas-crazy? Nothing says togetherness like guilt-tripping your children.

My back is finally starting to feel more normal. I'm not allowed to ride yet, or lift heavy things, but I can now go for as long as 5 hours without having to lie down to rest it. Yay!
