Tay the only thing I don't like about that computer is the integrated graphic card. It is basically a software driven graphic card which takes 128 MB from your Gig of ram to run. Not too bad considering you have a gig of ram but the card blows. All that other stuff such as the P4 processor and ram won't fix the downfall of that card. Probally equivalent to my card on the comp I'm using right now, which ain't much, no half life or anything like that. Alright for adobe photoshop but could be better. Also you have 2 and only 2 PCI slots, not PCI-express which would be better, since you could throw on a PCI express graphic card if need be. Overall if you are getting this computer to do a little of this and that it ain't bad. It has everything you would need and a little more extra. Yeah only REALLY bad thing about it is the graphic card, everything should run as advertised.

Looks like a good deal to me.
Alison, you should find something else. If for no other reason, then because since you started working there, the service at Canadian Tire has degraded 832%. I was in there yesterday to pick up a set of stubby wrenches for a christmas gift and they were out. Not only that but it took us 20 minutes to find out they were sold out because no-one would help us in hardware. Once we gave up in hardware and migrated to another part of the store Keri asked an employee (who we assume we caught off guard and not hiding in a bunker somewhere) about stuff to hang curtains. The guy looked genuinely scared and said he didn't know, but we should try in the hardware section. That, and only 25% of the items were priced on the shelf. It was terrible.

LOOK, IT'S A CONTEST!!!
If somebody finds a better deal on a computer than this, I'll buy the better one, AND I'll buy you a beer... or two or three. I may very well just get drunk with you... except you'll be doing it for free.
Bear in mind, Futureshop has FREE shipping. Shipping costs need to be accounted for!
Oh yeah, and it has to be under $900. I just realized "deal" could be a relative term if I don't stipulate that. Plus, it'd be nice if you could find it BEFORE futureshop sells out on that one.

well, if there's one thing I wish I didn't have to do, it's work.
It used to be school... but assuming I pass this class, it has been crossed off the list.
So now it's work.
Not working is pretty much the sweetest thing there is. However, not working is also sometimes impossible.
I don't know if that's any help. But that's my take on it.

"Do what needs to be done. simple as that."
I hate it when people tell me that.
drive to work, work to drive. Live to work, work to live. you know the drill.
Pretty much everyone needs work right now, esp retail, so you could pick and choose and probably get a job right away if Canadian Tire is not your cup o tea...
If nothing else, find someway to do what you love. the rest will work itself out.
