Looked up the internet and it seems to be okay, but very moronic. You have cruise for a reason; to prevent driver fatigue! If he can't even drive 5-10 minutes without being fatigued then he has got issues. Either that or he wants to use everything on my parents car before he can't use it ever again. Either way my brother has been known for odd behaviour.

PS: My parents said they could cosign for a RSX if I REALLY wanted one. However I'll wait untill I get a engineering job so I'll have more money to throw around. I'll still need to cosign though, apparently unless you are over 25 and have been doing the same job for more then 3 years you'll still need to cosign.

Hope not, my brother has been known to have a bad luck streak with cars.

seems to me like it wouldn't wreck anything, but it'd be pretty useless considering you're going to have to hit the break at the next light.

-Leave it to my dad to set me on the right path again. Really no one is 100 percent satisfied with their lives. They therefore have to bull shit their way to happiness (denial and lies), or struggle to change their lives and find happiness in the struggles and small triumphs. My dad told me this today, I don't know what for but it made sense. I mean I have to create, shouldn't the struggle be part of that creation? I think I just lost the joy of creation, which I had before. It might take a while to find it again. I hope to get it back and to never lose it again. Then again it is all a mental thing isn't it?

-Does any one know if it is a good thing to use cruise control in the city, at 60 km/h for 2 minutes? My moronic brother did this today while driving (I try to be kind, really I do, he just happens to act tghis way). I mean it was only 2 minutes of actual driving on a stretch of road at 60 km/h! why the hell would you use cruise control? Clark, Mark, anyone tell me if he wrecked something, I don't know how long he has been doing this for but I don't want him to wreck my parents car.

I second Tony's motion for July birthday fun...the 15th (my personal preference) or the 16th would work best...since two of the july birthdays (at least) can't make the other weekend.

A few things to mention here:

1) As per advice, I looked in the "Documents & Settings" folder to see if my Firefox bookmarks still existed under a different profile. As it turns out, there is only one profile, and the bookmark file for it was wiped clean. So it looks like I'm SOL on that one.

2) Al, here's a few words of inspiration for you from Bruce Cockburn:
"Nothing worth having comes without a fight,
You gotta kick at the darkness 'til it bleeds daylight"

3) Since the July birthdays are coming up, I suggest we celebrate all of them together (including mine) with a big outing sometime in the very near future, perhaps on the Saturday of the 9th or even the 16th.

4) Tay, those LDF designs are super-tight!

5) M83 - Before the Dawn Heals Us: absolutely killer!

And finally...

Al...if you seriously think that being creative/doing someting artistic is just about being pretentious, then maybe you should take a break...

And surpassing other artist? If we have to put down other people and say we are better then them, what does that make us? Do we create only to use it against other people? Maybe I seriously need to shelf it for a while. I think I'm not getting pretentious enough for this shit.

Nobel stuff like what you said don't amount to anything anymore. The only things anyone is concerned about are results not the the work that goes behind it. I don't know maybe I just need to shelf Grand Arms for a while. It doesn't matter how much effort I put behind it, it won't amount to much.
