The state of the fight against music piracy: Sony BMG hinders music pirates with protected CD
Users will be allowed to make three additional CD copies for their own use and to store the music files on their computer in a protected format from Microsoft.I presume the "Apple Macintosh" hole applies to all non-Windows operating systems. But that Sony will tell you how to circumvent it is hilarious. It raises the question: Can Sony sue itself under the anti-circumvention provision of the DMCA?
...
The copy-protection technology is also far from ironclad. Apple Macintosh users currently face no restrictions at all. What's more, if users go to a Web site to complain about the lack of iPod compatibility, Sony BMG will send them an email with a "back door" measure on how to work around the copy protection.

HEY, KIDS!
Take your dicks out of the playstation three
for one goddamn minute,
and read some fucking comics.

James Kochalka does it again.
Also, I haven't been impressed with a comic from marvel for something like 7 or 8 years. Seeing that they have some new character who looks totally fucking lame and who is apparently "the son of Carnage" I didn't think my perception of the company would change anytime soon. I was wrong however... I found this.

Just heard this from the CJSR listserv: Apparently, the Sidetrack lives on, and won't be making way for condo developments as we'd been previously led to believe.
