speaking of bureaucratic hell... at Tom's birthday dinner (see? Simon and I are real friends!) he and I were mentioning how the academic structure is almost identical to the dystopic bureaucracy portrayed in the classic movie Brazil. It's a mad world.

But as for passports... didn't you already apply for yours sufficiently long ago? Shit, I thought you did! I would've told you it takes forever, but I assumed you knew!!!

Also, I finally found out where the underground sources are to buy spray-paint tips and caps (for graffiti) in this city... mwahahaha!!!

Hey... what the hell DOES that 'R' stand for anyway?!?? I am clearly the bestest friend of Jeremy since I alone know that his middle name is Michael. And none of you can claim otherwise AFTER THE FACT has been established. Therefore... the R makes no sense whatsoever and all you Jeremy-friend-wannabes can just suck it and I'll see you in hell.

Wait... but I don't wanna go to hell!

....wait....don't answer that. not because i know the answer, but rather because i (as much as he ) respects that you guys not "swing" at the easy ones.
    carry on.

O, and I just wanted to mention that I'm not responsible for passing along said head cold. Also does anyone know which song is played in the Punisher commercial? The one that plays while he's walking and pushing buttons and then cars blow up? I'm not sure if the two are connected causally, but I really liked the sound.

I'm invincible! Nothing can stop me from destiny! Well...I may not really be invincible, but it sure feels that way.

    in addition,

have any of you that I've seen in the recent past
been suffering from a nasty headcold?
because dammit, you gave it to me.

This sucks. I can't sleep at night,
and all I want to do during the day is sleep, not study
and i have an exam tomorrow, dammit!

I dont' know what I'm going to do to you
    probably nothing, but really,
who has the gall to share their germs with me and get me sick during finals?
I shake my fist at you in vengeance!
(and that's about all I'll do, but I'm still disappointed)

Beck, in what way is Girl next door an "amazing movie"?
just wondering... knowing some of your preferences,
and what I've heard about the movie itself...

Par, has Scott been getting you to post for him yet again?
nice job taking advantage of that... if he doesn't want to do it... why not?

    and... so I get this e-mail . . .

    "Classifieds:
Young attractive brunette seeking tall mysterious curvy sexy brunette
who enjoys naked frolicking in forest, tree humping, and SHARING ENCS 473 NOTES!!!
    "
    clearly targetting me... except...
    am I mysterious?
    just askin'

there was more to the e-mail, but I won't bore you with the gritty details
    mostly because it's secret still
but one more quote: "mazeltov my little mozza ball" lovely, eh?

    I hadn't thought I was mysterious.
    mozza ball, maybe... but mysterious?
