- Beck, in what way is Girl next door an "amazing movie"?
just wondering... knowing some of your preferences,
and what I've heard about the movie itself...
Par, has Scott been getting you to post for him yet again?
nice job taking advantage of that... if he doesn't want to do it... why not?
and... so I get this e-mail . . .
"Classifieds:
Young attractive brunette seeking tall mysterious curvy sexy brunette
who enjoys naked frolicking in forest, tree humping, and SHARING ENCS 473 NOTES!!!"
clearly targetting me... except...
am I mysterious?
just askin'
there was more to the e-mail, but I won't bore you with the gritty details
mostly because it's secret still
but one more quote: "mazeltov my little mozza ball" lovely, eh?
I hadn't thought I was mysterious.
mozza ball, maybe... but mysterious?

- The sky must be falling... or something
I haven't recieved a single e-mail, spam or otherwise in 36hrs.
How can this be? No Spam?
I should call Scott Richter right now and ask him "hey, where's my offer today? What am I missing?"
Or I could e-mail him but he doesn't like that.

I thought it pertinent to note that today is Tom's birthday. I urge you to use this knowledge responsibly.

Regardless of the ratio between truth and bullshit in that last entry, I can safely say it's one of the most beautiful fucking things I've ever read. Please write me a book so I can read it and die... after reading such a book there would be nothing greater left for me in life.

- The only way I can summarize my trip to the Hat is by describing my two major chores:
1. Painting the bench
2. Picking up all the deer shit
My first chore was ordinary fare- you might even say it was mundane. In contrast then, my second task seemed slightly atypical: Since my last visit, my grandmother's fence took a tumble, and is now wholly non-existent. So, without any perimeter defence, my grandmother's backyard was laid to waste by an onslaught of hungry deer. Furthermore, as proud conquerors, they also laid their waste on the lawn. And it was my duty to return my grandmother's home to its former glory- to a time before this ruination, before the arbitrary destruction caused by these triumphant Lords of the Forest.
With my hands glov'd, I bent my knee, the sun mercilessly beating on my shoulders, as I filled a small sack with the small remains of these majestic animals. Indeed, before I went about this Herculean task, my grandmother recounted the stunned awe these creatures inspired in her. Perhaps, if I too had been blessed with a moment of their time, taking delight in their natural grace and beauty, the horror I then felt would have somehow been diluted with the memory of their glory. But their waste held none of their suggested majesty. Indeed, appropriate to the time, their fecal matter only resembled miniature chocolate eggs, eggs that had been baked under the harsh gaze of the sun.
And, so, as I finished gathering their parting gifts, it was as if the deer whispered to me through the calm chinook that caressed my face, saying "Happy Easter. To you and yours." And my eyes watered... mostly from the gut wrenching stench I had gathered into one tightly compacted aura, but also because I now understood the miracle of Easter.
God bless us.
