Thanks for bringing up that male or female variable. I suppose it would have to be the sex that is the most adept at fighting/hunting. So I suppose the fight would have to be between two females if they do the all the hunting. Another thing darn you Tony! I saw the trailer for Casshern and bow I want to see it. This is the exact same thing like with Versus! The story is some post-apocalyptic humanity dying story. Some scientists creates mutant "neo-humans" and they run amok and try to take over the world. Those robots are fighting for the "normal" humans and trying to bring down the mutants. Anyway robots, "Neo-humans", post-apocalypse...stir in a big pot, add crazy Japanese directing and you get Casshern.

- do they have to fight? I mean, what's the gain for them? I suppose the area isn't too huge, but still, a whole square mile? That's fairly large... yes, not large enough for most large territorial animals, but it could work...
Anyway, my bet's with the tiger too. That mane could work to a serious disadvantage for the lion. And besides, if it is two males fighting (the most territorial option, I'd think), it's usually the female lions who do the most hunting/killing and therefore the guy's at a disadvantage in this fight to the death, not just the fight for territory (which often doesn't kill).
hmm... had something else to say... oh well, I'll post again if I remember

Lion Vs Tiger
- First post of the day! Look I'm actually using my real name for once. Any ways here is a question for everyone to answer. If a lion and a tiger were thrown together in a fight to the death who would win? This question is based off a documentry that is soon coming on the discovery channel called Lion Vs Tiger. My money would be on the tiger because tigers are meaner, stonger, and more ferocious. Well I wait for your reply. To make the situation more debatable I'll put the fight conditions down.
1)Fight takes place in a cube shaped room with a base of 1 mile squared.
2)Room is empty ie. no trees, grass, basically no animal gets a terrain advantage.
3)Floor of the room is flat
4)Winner is the one that survies no matter how badly injured.
5)Loser is the animal which is dead! There brain doesn't work, blood isn't flowing they are basically a lawn ornament.
well I hope everyone has a nice day!

- DUDE... c'mon! Now is SO not the time to be making fun of the Mars rovers! It's in poor taste (no dasani pun intended) to belittle one of the most amazing discoveries of our lifetimes; the confirmed existence of salt-water on Mars and the understanding that it once harboured seas and waterways and very possibly LIFE. This spells certain advancement for the space program and a new field of space-study that makes me giddy like a catholic schoolboy in the head-nun's office... EXTRATERRESTRIAL/MARTIAN ARCHAEOLOGY!!!!!!!!
This has been the best week of my life. Except for those damn Oilers fucking it up in OT tonight.
...and in other news, Kunal convinces some chick he owns the Red Planet. Oh wait, that wasn't funny, right.

A: is basically reserved for the primary floppy drive and B: is reserved for a secondary. In my really old computer (circa 1984, and it still works!) the 5 1/4" drive was the A: drive, because that's all that's there. In my old 4x86 there are both a 3 1/2" and a 5 1/4" that are A: and B: respectively. For drive names, they're usually sequenced in a floppy (A,B), hard disc (C), cd/dvd drive (D), external devices (E) order. So, that's why the zip drive's E. If you got multiples of something, like hard drives, they're usually given drive numbers in sequence (I got 3 drives and they are C,D and E making my dvd F). As for the floppy, the 5 1/4" discs were initially nicknamed that, and I guess the name just stuck. Back to doing work!
