- Interesting story about the island nation of Tokelau:
Imagine a small island in the Pacific Ocean. The ocean wind breezes over the coconut trees. There is nothing to worry about. No telephone, no fax machine and no email around. The only daily worry is the ship coming in the harbor with fresh fish, to be divided equally amongst the people in the village. Maybe that's the reason why Tokelau, carrying the web address extension .tk is so relaxed about its domain registration.
Tokelau carries the country extension .tk (pronounced as Dot TK) and is one of the smallest and most remote countries but with ideas big enough to overcome any distance. On the island the peaceful and preserved culture is still in tact, where a system for dividing goods, called Inati, is a daily activity. All the goods are divided equally amongst the people, so everyone has the same chances, opportunities and the same amount of food. And now the island of Tokelau has just added something else on their list to give: a Dot TK web extension. And you can hook up with a free domain name to be part of it. We believe that's what the Internet was supposed to be about. "Free" meaning no charges, payments or expected return favors.
But, Paras, what does this mean for me? If you're Beck, it means that genescort.tk is perfectly free. For the rest of you, it means an easier way to get to this website (particularly if the U takes away my account if and when I leave.) The question is, what domain name to choose?

- So yeah... nothing we can do about the rent thingy. The University always wins right? And we're out another $605. Wonderful.
Whatever, I don't care. They can go fuck themselves, I've decided that I'm taking time off school. I need money and there's no way to get significant amounts of it while taking classes.
I'm actually looking forward to it.

.tk is so sweet! I'd like to make a page now too. Or wait, I have a page already! Hurray! I guess I'll fix the details later.

- Bored and want to get dumber (or at least feel dumber)? I found this link listed as "LSD in HTML." I'm inclined to think this is what Teletubbies would be like if it was interactive (although I can't be 100% sure, having not been sufficiently under the influence to find out what Teletubbies is like.)
Also, a great stress reliever, Virtual Bubblewrap. Complete with those two bubbles that are impossible to pop because they've somehow become connected. Best to try this on "manic mode" though.

As I lay on my bed, thinking about you, I feel this strong urge to grab you and squeeze you, because I can't forget last night. You came to me unexpectedly during the balmy and calm night, and what happened in my bed still leaves a tingling sensation in me. You appeared from nowhere and shamelessly, without any reservations, you laid on my naked body...you sensed my indifference, so you applied your hungry mouth to me without any guilt or humiliation, and you drove me near crazy while you drained me. Finally I went to sleep. Today when I woke up, you were gone, I searched for you but to no avail, only the sheets bore witness to last night's events. My body still bears faint marks of your enthusiastic ravishing, making it harder to forget you. Tonight I will remain awake waiting for you... ....you stupid mosquito.

Do you really consider yourselves Evil?
"Ha! Evil! Of Course We're Evil!
Dogar And Kazon Would Never Reward A Less-Than-Hideously Evil Species With Their Baleful Grace.
Why We Are The Very Definition Of Evil!
Everything About Us, Within And Without, Reeks Of Heinous Deeds, Deceit And Treachery!
Even Our House Pets Are Rather Evil."
But `evil' is that which is morally bad or wrong. And if your actions are judged by your society as correct, aren't you, in fact, good?
"Hmmm... We ARE All Evil.
We All Behave In A Mutually Agreed-Upon Fashion Of Murder, Torture, Deceit And So Forth.
Our Uniform Acceptance Of This Heinous Credo Creates An Orderly And Cooperative Society
Which Hardly Seems Evil.
Evil Is Doing Things That Make Others Hurt Or Fear.
We ALL Do That, Of Course.
But Since We ALL Do Such Things, As Sanctioned By Our Culture,
It Would Be `Bad' To Do Otherwise.
Which Means...
Er...
Puny Hu-Man, Do Not Play With Words! You Anger Both Dogar And Kazon! Now You Must Die!"
