So I was very devastated to realize that I had missed the season premier of 24 last night. After watching the first two seasons this one has to be great. I mean, the writers have now had two previous seasons to come up with great ideas for how to make Jack Bauer (Keifer Sutherland) have a completely insane and terrible 24hr day with no sleep or bathroom breaks. And apparently they have something original to do with Kim Bauer (his daughter) other than just have her kidnapped and used as leverage, or standing at ground zero of a nuclear blast. So anyway I looked on the suprnova website and to my suprise it is already available for download. You can get it here if you have bit torrent. Thank god for 13yr old kids with nothing better to do than to rip TV shows into neatly compressed files and post them on the internet!

- Oooh! Is that one of those special machine guns that turn all stealthy when their colour matches
up with the background...? I've always wanted one of those!
Going back to work now...

- Well it appears that my South Park P does not quite resemble myself! Considering the fact that I do not wear orange pants. Well in light of the ghetto-ness of Erminskin, behold! Erminskin P!

- heh, not too concerned with the power if that's all I touched, hopefully didn't touch anything
with error correction and stuff.
Yeah, I figured you knew all that crap already...
I dunno, I know OpenMG's a piece of crap, but I've never had any problems with it so I've never
thought of looking for another program, and if there is any program out there... person's gotta
know a crap load about MDs....

- hey leo, thanks for that info but I guess I wasn't quite clear, 'cause I pretty well know all about that stuff, what I meant was another program other than openMG. OpenMG is a piece of garbage, and I'm sure someone out there has made a better program, and I'm sure I can find it if I look hard enough, I'm just hopeing maybe someone knows about it so I don't have to search as hard.
yeah and if you hacked you md, I doubt the power settings will make a huge difference, but if they do there should be a way to reset your md. I know there is for mine, I tried it, and in the process discovered what all the recording errors are. or at least what my md calls them, which of course I don't know how to fix... yet.

- Hey Pete, I know a decent amout about the NetMDs so here it goes...
Anyhow, the easiest way for you to get the songs onto your MD is to:
1. Use the OpenMG program that came with the MD (NetMD)
2. Analogue recording from the computer (using, for example, Winamp /w MD plugin)
3. Burn the discs with your brother's player and use them on your MD
Since I know #1 doesn't apply to you, and you're probably doing #2, #3 would be the best one.
However... I don't clearly know the issues in terms of back compatability since each MD version
uses a different version of ATRAC3 encryption. Mine's Type-R, Scott's is Type-S. There's also the
issue where if you put the song on the MD using a program, such as OpenMG, the song is write
protected on the disc, so you can't delete it unless you're using a computer with OpenMG. (There's
some other issues with deletion, song copies, and other stuff but they're relatively easy to work
around). On the sites you linked two, those firmware hacks would work with the supposedly
encryption issue, but each of those models have a USB connection. Unless you get another MD, you're
gonna have to do #2, or #3 (if it works at all) but there's no harm in trying... just that you'll
need his player to make any deletions do the disc (you should be able to edit the playlist and song
titles still, I think...)
So yeah, there a bit for you...
Oh, and BTW, Paras nice background, but it would be nice to be able to read what everyone's said...
