AD, Beck, Keri, Andy, Par, and possibly Percy I'm not actually on L2 it is only my avatar trying to sell my hatchling. Just in case you think I'm playing L2 and not working. I am actually at work doing work things.

I was just doing the old Hitler to obscurum phenomena that most discussions degenerate down to. Not that I'm not happy for Jere and Dana I really and truly am but you must have read my post the wrong way. I was only kidding about the lonely, loser bit, and the hitler bit and everything else. Can't someoen bored at work have fun by putting down emo, crazy shit?

So to summarise:

1) I am Really happy that Jere and Dana are going to get married.
2)I only slightly, very slightly bemoan the fact I am not attached.
3)The last few post are mainly because I was bored at work and apparently only some people got that.

Oh, and Soy makes you gay.

And infertile.

And fat.

And gives you leukemia.

And breast cancer.

...

I think that's about it.

You omnivs and your fishing metaphors. Yeesh...

So, from the holy-crap file, The Star Wars Holiday Special!

Part 1 of 10:

(As an aside, I've only made it through the credits, and don't know that I'll be watching it any time soon, but it's here if you want it...)

it's going to sound bad, but i think it's because everyone's expectations have gotten higher... of themselves and of other people... and where before you knew that you were going to marry someone in the town you were living in, or the one just down the dirt road... now, you could find just about anyone...anywhere... if you look hard enough...

also... now, we all see so many more people, so we realise what the potential is out there... how very many different ways we could fulfil our dreams... which kind-of puts you in a kid-in-a-candy-store kind-of dilemma, where you only have enough (ahem) money for one, but you've got so many choices...

or at least that's what i'm going to say for now.

it's like realising that you're not fishing in a bucket with only minnows, but you're in the ocean, so you're not sure what kind of line to use, what kind of bait, or hook to set... nor even where to set your boat...

What makes me sadder is that even Hitler got married! Damn! If this person we consider a monster can get married then why can't I?

(There Par fulfilled the Hitler to obscurum (or however that phrase goes) quota for the year.)
