Random stuffs:
On the shutout win last night:
"He was unreal," Oilers defenceman Matt Greene said of Roloson. "He's been doing that all year for us.Poor Ty Conklin.
"He makes every save he should."

If you mean a clinch you can only do take downs in a clinch. If you are a sprawl and brawler like Lyoto then try to sprawl to break that clinch. Damn I miss my bro. He was the mma guy at our house.

If you're bored (or avoiding studying *cough, cough*), you can always exercise your math brains and dismantle this bizarre and ultimately very wrong proof that π = 1080/73. It's a great example of circular logic from a number of angles. Have fun. And, if you need a hint, try subbing z=2 (or any arbitrary number) into the first proof. And rest assured that π is indeed irrational.

So, given that the NHL All-Star game is allowing people to vote online, and as many times as they want, for the starting lineup, they've released interim results for the Western Conference. To wit, the defenseman:
DefensemenOne might wonder about the highlighted player above. That's (one-time Oiler (kinda)) Rory Fitzpatrick, who has climbed all the way to 5th place on the list as a write-in vote.
Scott Niedermayer Anaheim 329,657
Nicklas Lidstrom Detroit 317,373Chris ProngerAnaheim 219,372
Dion Phaneuf Calgary 208,945
Rory Fitzpatrick Vancouver 144,819
Sergei Zubov Dallas 110,562
Mattias Ohlund Vancouver 110,146
Some people might find this a strange situation, especially those who may not see Fitzpatrick as a star at all, let alone one of these encompassing "All-"Stars. These gentlemen merely see it as a job half-finished; a job to send a hard-working behind-the-scenes player to the NHL's annual showcase of -- I gather -- talent.
If you wish to help Fitzpatrick at least take his campaign above and beyond the other ex-Oiler on the list, your votes may be placed here.
