my mom was checking their old power bills, and in only 3 of the last 12 months were they paying anything close to the rate they "agreed" upon with this hustler... all the rest were WAY under. I think it depends on your own individual circumstances, but it really bothered me that this guy rang our doorbell, walked in and immediately my folks bought the package... locked in for 5 years (thankfully with a 10-day cancellation window).
I'd just like to know what happened to the "think before you buy" attitude my folks instilled in me.

Alison, we signed up for the package deal a few months ago and so far we're paying far lower rates than everyone else. At least we would if they could read the meter correctly...

truly, i agree with you, Par, but it's still interesting that the fourth line started the big show... another feather in the caps of Reasoner, Winchester and, um... oh shoot, who was the other winger?
and it's a pity people kept leaving the ice, and, well... that things unfolded the way they did... but a point is a point... and as Rod Philips put it, the crowd was nothing but honourable. i'd have liked to see the signs though... they would've been hilarious.

I dunno who's watching on TVU, but I'm pretty sure Brian Hayward was just advocating for someone to shoulder Smytty on the chin.
Man, if anyone thinks that Cole/Neale are bad, they should be grateful we don't have to deal with these schmucks. They gab during powerplays, call shots on goal "bids" and then the "someone has to lower the boom on Ryan Smyth on the wraparound" idiocy. Amazing.
EDIT: While I'm bitching, quick, Edmonton fans, what's wrong with this statement:
Torres, the Edmonton native, had 14 goals in the playoffs last year, but has struggled to find the net this year
I hate these guys.

who starts the game with the fourth line??
A coach whose fourth line center can score goals, I guess...
