They have the fire going early this year on channel 18. It seems that it's just a thanksgiving holiday thing, but this time it features live action. I've seen them stoke the fire, put on a fresh log and drop fresh water on the turkey to make it look appealing and not dry out. Those of you who like the log at christmas, will love the thanksgiving version.

Well done, Percy. And only 12 hours too late. Not bad. I told you I wouldn't bring it up; that you'd have to do it...

Sorry Chris... I've been thinking about halloweeny food since you posted and I'm drawing a blank. For main entrees and sides anyway. Seems deserts are a little easier.

I haven't tried DVDs, P. I know that in linux it didn't have menu support either so that might not be possible, subtitles do work in linux, but the windows one is command line only and I'm not sure how to do that... the documentation for it may help. It's really good for files on a hard drive though, that's what I use it for mostly.

Beck, have you played DVDs with the windows mplayer? If so, how do you do it? I can get them to play by going into the video_ts section of the DVD, but I have trouble interacting with menus. I also can't seem to get the subtitles going.
