Sykora signs with Oilers pending physical

The physical's probably to make sure they've been negotiating with this Petr Sykora and not this Petr Sykora.

EDIT: From TSN's article:

The Czech Republic native joins a top-six forward unit that includes Ryan Smyth, Shawn Horcoff, Ales Hemsky, Jarret Stoll and Fernando Pisani.
No mention of Joffrey Lupul or Raffi Torres (I realize his name doesn't spring to mind immediately for most, but 27 goals last year...) in that top-six, or any other indication, really, of the glut of forwards the Oilers have to complement their incomplete defensive corps. Trade, anyone?

If the CBC were to lose hockey broadcasting... it would pretty much be the death-knell for the network as we know it. Even so, I kinda like the idea that broadcasting might improve if the CBC wasn't running the show...

Will CBC be left out in the cold?

Then again... do I really want hockey broadcasting done by a company that owns part of the Maple Leafs?
