worked just fine for me too on saturday... sure, it'll get busier as the weekend continues, but still, lines shouldn't be too long. there are enough kiosks around that it really isn't a huge problem.
Hey Eric, is that Tony's Pizza on 112th street near Kingsway but in the really dumpy section with all the pawn shops? that pizza is divine. they hand toss it right there in front of you too. if so, I second your recommendation.

My sister said the lines weren't that bad. She said they went like clockworks.

Hey, I've caught word that the lines for those food tickets at Heritage days are pretty bad. Save-Ons were selling tickets, but they will stop by tomorrow.
EDIT: Alright, I called the Save-Ons on Cal Trail and they may sell them tomorrow if there are any available, but there's no guarantee. Though they're open till 11:00PM tonight they have already sold all of their tix.
The Strathcona Save-Ons says they still have tickets.
Ellerslie as well.

Inspired by this post and, well, boredom, I give you Jerseys Oilers Fans Never Want To See (in some cases, never again):

If you're feeling similarly inspired, IceJerseys.com allows you to preview your customized jersey.

Very... persuasive argument there, Al. Hope everyone had fun last night. I wanted to play soccer, but I thought it would have been so much more fun sitting in Costco waiting for them to do the wheel-balancing for my Dad's car. Best two hours evar!
Anyway, I was hoping to get some people out to throw a disc around today, maybe around 4:00? Give me a call if you're interested (or if I don't phone you.)

so the rumors are true: PIZZA BOYS HAS INCREDIBLE PIZZA!!!!
if you want a "BIG CITY/NEW YORK SLICE" the only place you can get it is at Pizza Boys or Tony's Pizza on the north side (they're brothers - so they pretty much make the same stuff)
Pizza boys reminded me a lot of the Amato's pizza in Toronto, especially twith he chewiness of the crust, the thinness of the slice, and the perfect gooey-ness of the cheese.
anyways check out this review
i honestly can't say enough good things about this place - it's seriously a best kept secret
