gah, home, away, home, away, home, away... all this travel, and i used to think i was an environmentalist... guess that's gone out the 1-tonne truck window. goin' back to Conklin tomorrow morning for most of the week... have fun y'all.
and fingers crossed there won't be a bear this time. Jess! I had an experience rather a lot like yours... and from now on i'll be packin' the bear spray. haha!

Robert Newman's "History of Oil". 45mins from Google Video (I'd recommend downloading it.) Entertaining, if slightly conspiratorial/depressing. (Those squeamish about terms like "peak oil" and "the end of civilization" may want to pass on this.)
