Shit, I completely forgot. Happy Towel Day, everyone!:

Towel Day is celebrated every May 25 as a tribute by fans of the late author Douglas Adams. The commemoration was first held in 2001, two weeks after his death on May 11, and since then has been extended to an annual event. On this day, fans carry a towel with them throughout the day.

Hey, what do you know, it's even Thursday. I could never get the hang of Towel Days.

All phone companies are like that, but especially Telus. They think they have some monopoly on phones or something. I also like how they try to back charge you on "services" you don't use like enchanced 911 service. They back charged my sister 50 cents for every month she owned her phone. She wanted to get rid of her phone but they would charge her a 20 dollar penalty for every month she still had on her 3 year contract. It ended up being cheaper if she just kept her phone and paid the back charges. Damn Telus!

Telus is a pretty rediculous company. after I lost my phone, I didn't worry about canceling it because it is pay as you go. I could still check my messages on it, and one day there were two drunken rambling messages by nobody I knew. so I figured I should go to the telus store here in the mall and cancel it. After they tried to sell me a new phone, they listened to me. They needed to check my ID to tell me that someone was indeed using my phone. she then wrote a # onto a sticky note and told me that I would have to call that # to disconect my phone. they will trust a voice over the phone, but not me in person to disconect myself from their system. still not sure why they even have a telus store anymore.
