Parking is only restricted on Whyte ave itself. The ave will be closed at 6pm (102 to 107th). Parking in the surrounding area will probably be tough to find, but not impossible. I'm going to try and be at the BP's at aprox. 4:45. I don't know if that is early enough, I'll see I guess.

Well Ed, my co-workers who go down to Whyte to see the game claim that unless you get there at 3:30 PM, you won't get a seat anywhere. Plus they are enforcing a parking rule on whyte that resticts driving or parking around that area after 6:00PM. So unless you are fully commited to going I don't really see going to whyte as a viable option. BP on Calgary trail will probally be a bit better.

I probally won't be going down to whatever location you guys choose until a bit later.

I'm hoping to watch the hockey game tomorrow at the BP's on Whyte ave. I've let some of you know, but if you do want to come, let me know so I can try and save a seat. It would probably be even better if you could show up early to get a seat since it will be pretty busy. Otherwise, if it's tough for people to get down to Whyte Ave, the BP's on Calgary Trail (near Moxies) might be better. But we'd still have the problem of having to get seats. Lemmie know what you think.

The concert was a blast indeed. I had to buy a t-shirt because I needed something dry to put on. The crowd, while still many anoying tweens, was much better than the Metric concert. Deffinatly one of my favorite shows of the year so far. The journal didn't think much of the show though. I thought the most serene republic stepped it up for this show. I really wasn't impressed the last time I saw them, but I really got into them this time. I went to Halo for a few minutes afterwards. It was pretty mellowtastic. didn't wait around for potential strokes spottings. Too burnt out by the end of it. The rumourmill was actually a bunch of cards from Halo telling people to come to the strokes afterparty. The mill was actually Halo hyping themselves.

tonight I'll be kicking the futbol around at about 7 at ainlay if anyone is so inclined.

HALO Strokes after party rumor:
sorry kids. i don't think they went. i didn't go so i can't confirm that, but i was talking to Travis (he's the DJ for Mod Club, and the dude who was doing the afterparty) and he said the strokes weren't coming- not to his knowledge anyways

HOWEVER
hipster twister may have a new home at HALO. how sweet would that be?

Taylor, you need to include a warning at either end of that sort of thing, then. Besides, it's not like Jesse went into any detail on the knee disintegration.

Anyway, Jesse, I hope you and your buddy actually went to Halo, 'cause they were advertising an after-party, and it sure seemed like you enjoyed the concert. I can't believe they played Lou Reed. LOU fucking REED, man! that was awesome! actually, the whole concert was awesome. if only I didn't have a road trip starting at 7 tomorrow morning...
