Team Rejected 8 - Phat Fielders 9

I don't feel too dejected... seeing as it was 6-2 for them at half time.

Ok, for those of you who have been having problems with the logging in, I ask of you one more try. I've made a couple of minor changes which I hope will help (and which I hope haven't broken anything). Let me know once again. Thanks for your patience.

On a slightly lighter note. I just heard, probably much later than most of you, that The Mars Volta are opening for the Red hot freaken Chilly Peppers come september. Tickets go on sale this saturday morning. except for the freaken itunes presale if you buy stadium arcadium through itunes. damn hippies. I'll be on the floor if possible. I suppose I really should read Paras' long post. I feel like I am the only one here that is not completely ashamed of everything I've ever done. Though probably in context with his post, I am too selfish, and am going to bed. gnight all.

Well then my brother must be going to the fucking (trying to find a word to describe it right now...) merchant of death convention this week. Not much you can do now, if Coltan is used largely for capacitors then I think practically all of us are guilty for buying products. Unless you don't drive a car, don't take the bus, don't watch TV, don't have a Ipod, basically are amish then you are guilty. And yes smoke detectors have small capacitors in them, ones that are most likely made of tantalum.

I had a surprise extraction of my lower two wisdom teeth this morning -- not that some dentist ambushed me, leaping from the brush, poaching my precious teeth with a pair of forceps. I visited the dentist so that he could assess the pain caused by some infection I developed recently -- and, of course, the infection was caused by the awkward, angular collision of my wisdom teeth with my otherwise unintelligent molars.

Anyway, the extraction was fun for everyone since the teeth's roots were gnarled and curved like a fucking eagle's claw -- those fuckers didn't want to go anywhere. The surgeon is a family friend, and is a fucking pro, so it went awesome, considering.

All this bitching seems pretty moot though; I don't live in the goddamn Congo, where my life can be forfeited for profit. I had no idea my basement was bathed in blood. I feel ill and complacent.
