Hey Paras - I could only log in with the old version with the 'Remember Me' option on.

I'm off to Calgary for a couple days - see you all later!

It's not their fault, eric. They had to deal with a goalie that had Launchpad McQuack on his mask. (Fuck, I wish I could find a decent image of that. It's got at least a few early-90s, Disney-Saturday-Afternoon-with-Mike-Sobel characters on it. I know I saw the aforementioned Launchpad, and I think one of the CBC announcers mentioned Darkwing Duck.)

There are two, the one on Jasper, and then one about half a block from my parents house. It's in the old "Richie Mill". The building is looming over where 103 twists around and down into the river valley towards Queen E pool. Seems to be a lot of older guys and cops hanging out there.

Hi Everyone,

I have a minute left on my internet, so I thought I'd post something. I'm in Bath right now, drinking cheap wine and sitting in a very smoky pub. Hope everyone is having a good time! I got to see King Arthur's Castle today - so cool!

I think Pub 1905 is on Jasper, near 105th maybe? They have a big banner saying that they're "now open".

I'm free on Monday. Then the great unknown of summer. Wheee! (Or is that "Wii!!" now? )

Did I hear someone say Metal Slug? If any of you want the complete series with a good emulator (at least it works on my machine), and have bittorrent, use that link...

Yeah, when Jere and I were on Whyte it had calmed down and cooled off quite a bit. The cops were being very restrictive about where you could go. Traffic was all blocked off, but they wouldn't let anyone walk between 104th and 106th St. If they keep the same attitude on a warmer night with a later game... they're only going to have trouble.
