ThankYouStephenColbert.org: a site that has sprung up after his speech at the White House Correspondents' Dinner (video on the site.) The dinner is an annual quasi-roast of the press and the President (for example, President Bush appeared with an impersonator and delivered a tandem speech.) Suffice it to say, in his keynote, Colbert was his character from the Colbert Report, and that didn't go over well with the President.
There seems to be two schools of thought on this one: that Colbert wasn't funny (at least, to the crowd gathered), or that he was bitingly so, to the point that it made the assembled crowd uncomfortable, but that it didn't take away from the humour. Watch the clip, and figure it out for yourself.

The wings lost because of huburis. What makes them think they could sell round 2 tickets before even starting the playoffs? They were tempting fate by thinking they could beat us. Well they can now go home and cry to their mommies... Those sucky bitches!

Shit, you guys should have heard it in the Riverbend Boston Pizza. My cell-phone ringtone now is like 200 people chanting "let's go oilers!" while banging on their tables. And then when the oilers won, BPs busted out the champagne! hahaha
And then we (I?) proceeded to get (even more?) shit-faced and spiral downward into utter chaos and debauchery.

their numbers were so inflated all season - Edmonton's record also would have been pretty sweet if we only ever played St.Louis and Chicago
also Calgary was embarassing last night. The Sharks are also sooooo incredibly average. The only real strong team left in the West besides us is Colarado - Theo's gonna stomp the second round NO PROB

One more. The quote from Ma-nny:
"I feel like going home and hanging myself. To have such a great year and then such a disappointing last two weeks. And you're out. You're golfing. It's hard to take."
Not that he played too badly (although Pisani's second goal was a "what were you thinking" kind of moment), but statements like that must have had more than a little to do with how this series went. You could see him sag after that goal; he just lost confidence as this series went on, and I'm sure that didn't help his team.
(I had thought about quoting just that first sentence, but that may have been unfair.)

Oh, and Calgary lost. What a sweet night. Huh? What's that? I have a final tomorrow? ... Ethics? Aah, who needs it?

First things first. Please forgive the quality, but my image editting skills aren't exactly what people would describe as "good", and I am a little bit excited and, thus, in a hurry. Nevertheless, I promised myself I'd do this:
